Wingecarribee Shire Council will temporarily close the children’s playground at Bundanoon Oval to allow for regular maintenance.
The closure and subsequent repair work will commence Monday 23 January. Weather permitting the playground will re-open mid-February.
“The refurbishments are part of Council’s regular asset maintenance program,” said Council’s Parks and Open Spaces Coordinator, Greg Bray.
“Whilst we regret having to close the playground for a few weeks, safety is of paramount importance and the repairs are necessary to ensure the playground remains safe for all of the park’s users.”
The refurbishments will be undertaken by Council’s specialist play equipment contractor, A-Play.
“Council apologises for any inconvenience and will make sure the playground is back in action as soon as possible.”
