Attorney General declines to authorise Alexandra Square Trust proceedings

Wingecarribee Shire Council has today received written advice from the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office that the Attorney General has declined to authorise the Supreme Court proceedings in relation to the Alexandra Square Trust.

The proceedings were brought before the Supreme Court by Councillor Garry Turland and the Southern Highlands Ratepayers Association against Council.

The proceedings are listed before the Supreme Court tomorrow, Wednesday 27 May 2015.  The outcome of these proceedings will be reported to Council at its meeting tomorrow afternoon.
