Pensioners reminded to return Application Forms
Wingecarribee Shire Council is reminding all residents eligible for a Pension Concession to complete a Pensioner Application Form which will be issued to all ratepaying pensioners in the forthcoming rates instalment.
An approved Pensioner Concession enables eligible residents to receive a rebate on their 2012/13 Council rates.
“We remind all eligible ratepayers to double check their paperwork before returning the application form,” said Council’s Manager Finance and Business Services, Barry Paull. “Unfortunately we cannot accept incomplete forms.”
“This includes signing both the Declaration and Consent sections which can be found on page 4,” he said.
The Pensioner Application Form will be used to update ratepayer details mandatory under changes in Centrelink requirements.
Updated forms must be returned to Council by Friday 31 August 2012.
