Wingecarribee Shire Council’s Library Services has this week launched their new website promising customers a host of improved services.

Council’s Information Services Librarian Roxanne Seaward said the new look website was easier to use and provided readers with greater information.

“The design includes the ability to search the entire library catalogue from any page on the site,” Ms Seaward said. “Online membership access has also been simplified.”

“We’ve also included a subject and alphabetical guide to database information via the eResources page.”

Also included at the launch was a new Bookmyne mobile phone app which allows readers to search the library catalogue, renew and request books from their mobile device.

“We’ve deliberately tried to freshen up the site and make it easier to navigate,” Ms Seaward said. “Parents can even book school holiday activities for their children via the site.”

The library website has been created using the same corporate branding and styling design as Council’s existing Customer Service and Tourism Southern Highlands websites.
