The community will have an opportunity to discuss the Draft Plan of Management for Bundanoon Oval and Jordan’s Crossing with Wingecarribee Shire Council officers and consultants on Wednesday 5 October 2011.

Plans of Management guide the development and management of Council controlled land which is classified as Community Land. The community workshop is being held to answer enquiries and look at the actual site, allowing residents to have a say about the planning process for Bundanoon Oval and Jordan’s Crossing.

The consultation will focus on the use and the priority for capital improvements to the park. One of the more contentious items is the possible inclusion of a Mountain Bike Trail within the park.

The community workshop will be held on site, under the open shelter in the south eastern corner of Bundanoon Oval, Erith Street Bundanoon on 5 October, 2011. The community is encouraged to attend at their convenience between 2:30pm and 6:00pm when Council staff will be on hand to answer any questions and register comments.

Residents unable to attend the workshop are invited to submit their comments directly to the Assets Department at Council. They will have an additional opportunity to comment when the Draft Plan of Management is put on public exhibition at the end of November 2011.
