Wingecarribee Shire Council is asking residents to view and provide comment on its draft Road Maintenance Policy which went on public exhibition on Wednesday 28 August 2019.

Council’s Assets Manager, Stace Lewer, explained the importance of the document.

“One of the key purposes of the draft policy is to provide safe and secure roads across our Shire,” he said.

“Within the document we detail our risk-based management framework for all Council-managed roads which includes unmaintained roads.”

The draft policy also explains that Council will prioritise works and schedule maintenance activities within available resources.
