Wingecarribee Shire Council is calling for community feedback on its draft 2011-13 Delivery Program and 2011-12 Operational Plan which went on public exhibition last week.

The draft documents represent Council’s response to public input gathered from Wingecarribee 2031+, Council’s long-term community plan for the Southern Highlands.

Wingecarribee Shire Council General Manager, Jason Gordon said the documents were an opportunity for residents to comment on Council’s future agenda.

“These documents represent our first steps towards delivering the largest community project this Council has ever undertaken. They detail our immediate goals and funding priorities we will commit to over the next two years,” Mr Gordon said.

The draft documents – which also include the Revenue Policy – will be on exhibition until Friday 10 June 2011.

The documents can be viewed online at www.wsc.nsw.gov.au or at Council’s Moss Vale Civic Centre and at Council’s libraries.

Feedback and submissions must be made by close of business 10 June 2011 via email at: wscmail@wsc.nsw.gov.au or in writing addressed to the General Manager at;

PO Box 141, Moss Vale, 2577

We invite all of our Shire’s residents to provide us with feedback, because ultimately, these documents will set our agenda for the next 20 years and beyond”.
