Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking feedback from the community on the Shire’s aquatic facilities.

Council’s Pools and Facilities Supervisor, Laura Hill, explained that the annual survey is designed to determine community satisfaction with Council’s outdoor public swimming pools and the year-round aquatic and fitness centre in Moss Vale.

“We’re looking for feedback on frequency and reason for use, and also the satisfaction of users regarding items such as cleanliness and customer service,” she said.  “We’re also asking for feedback on how we can improve our services.”

Two surveys are available, one for outdoor seasonal swimming facilities and the other for Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre. Residents are invited to participate in either or both surveys.

“Council is committed to providing public facilities that meet our community’s needs,” said Ms Hill.

Last year, the overall satisfaction rate for Council’s outdoor pools was 82 per cent and 87 per cent for Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre.

“With a number of suggested improvements underway, we’re hoping to see even better results this year,” said Ms Hill.

“We want to ensure that our residents have access to safe, high quality aquatic facilities, not just for much-needed recreation and water safety lessons, but to help them remain active and healthy as well.”

All surveys must be completed by 25 March 2018.
