Council chambers 2021

Public access to Council Meetings held in the Moss Vale Council Chambers are set to resume from Wednesday 13 October as physical restrictions ease across the State.

Council’s Interim Administrator Viv May PSM said while members of the public would be able to return to the chamber in-person, strict COVID protocols would be enforced.

“All attendees must secure a ticket beforehand,” Mr May stressed.  “Only ticket holders will be permitted, and seating numbers will be limited.”

“Any persons wishing to attend must reside in the Shire and they’ll also be asked to show proof of double-vaccination.”

Only one ticket will be allocated per person.  To secure a ticket visit www.eventbrite.com.au/e/186340378087.

Guests will also be  required to register their attendance on entry via the sign-in QR code and wear a face-mask for the duration of the meeting.

Mr May encouraged all guests attending to allow additional time to check-in.

“We understand these measures may be inconvenient at first,” he said.  “However, as the Shire begins to re-open it’s important we keep all visitors and employees of Council safe.”

“I thank everyone in advance for their patience and understanding.”

Covid protocols will remain in place until additional physical restrictions are eased or until further notice.

The protocols will also apply to Community Question Sessions starting at 2.45pm and Public Forum at 3.00pm.  Tickets are also required for participation in either of these forums.

Council reminds residents that all Ordinary Meetings of Council are live-streamed via Council’s website at www.wsc.nsw.gov.au.  Community Question Sessions will not be broadcast or live-streamed.

The agenda for the all Council Meetings can be found at www.wsc.nsw.gov.au/Council/Council-Meeting-Minutes-Agendas.

The Ordinary Meeting of Wednesday 13 October 2021 will be held within the Council Chambers located within the Moss Vale Civic Centre.
