Wingecarribee Public Libraries are gearing up to launch their inaugural electronic newsletter, The Wingecarribee Word, on Saturday 1 July.

Librarian Trudy Eccleston said the brand new monthly eNewsletter would benefit all library users.

“Within the eNewsletter patrons can learn about all the great resources that can be found across our Wingecarribee Public Libraries,” she said.

The Wingecarribee Word will feature articles on the latest books and magazines, new eBooks, eMagazines, eAudios and films available from the libraries and online.

“We also plan on promoting the latest news and events from our libraries including school holiday activities and author visits,” Trudy added.

“Another highlight will be reading recommendations and reviews on a variety of books and materials popular with patrons of all ages.”

“It really doesn’t matter what your age is or what your interests are,” Trudy said.  “All library users are bound to find something of interest in The Wingecarribee Word.”

The first edition of The Wingecarribee Word will be issued to inboxes on 1 July.
