Council info kiosk to visit Colo Vale
Wingecarribee Shire Council officers will be visiting the residents of Colo Vale on Wednesday 19 March 2014 as part of a mobile roadshow.
Council’s Acting General Manager Ann Prendergast said the information kiosks are an opportunity for residents to ask questions without having to visit the Moss Vale Civic Centre.
“Staff from numerous departments will be on hand to answer questions and promote a whole range of Council services in an informal environment. Engineers, planners, rangers and customer and community service officers will be in attendance to answer any specific Council-related queries residents may have.”
“The roving kiosk concept grew from community feedback received during preparation of Wingecarribee 2031+, the long-term community strategic plan for the Southern Highlands, when Council was told that it needed to be more actively involved, accessible and visible to the public.
“We have been visiting a town or village in the Shire each month since May 2011 and this will be our second visit to Colo Vale,” Ms Prendergast said.
The Information Kiosk will be held at Colo Vale Community Hall, Railway Avenue, Colo Vale on Wednesday 19 March 2014 between 4.00pm and 6.30pm.

Residents are welcome to drop in during the kiosk hours but are encouraged to RSVP prior by calling (02) 4868 0888 to ensure appropriate Council staff are on hand to answer their queries.
