Resourcing your Art workshop

Wingecarribee Shire Council is set to host a workshop for artists looking for new ways to make a living from their creative practice.

The Resourcing your Art workshop will be held on Friday 26 May 2017 from 10am to 4pm in Council’s Moss Vale Civic Centre.

Facilitated by experienced arts leader and social innovator Debby Maziarz, the workshop will focus on building stronger creative communities for artists and arts organisations.

Participants will identify individual and collective assets and explore new ways to sell, trade, collaborate and share their resources.

In 1996 Ms Maziarz founded the Westside Circus, Melbourne’s leading not-for-profit organisation for young people participating in circus. Since then she has been committed to raising the profile of artists and advancing the practices, systems, processes and structures in which artists participate.

Visual artists, performance artists, musicians, writers and others are invited to attend.

Tickets include morning tea and lunch and are $25 for local artists and $35 for artists outside the Shire.

Bookings can be made online at www.trybooking.com/PXML.
