Wingecarribee Shire Council is inviting three cheeky chipmunks and a school of ferocious sharks to Bowral Pool – via the silver screen – this Saturday 1 February 2014.

Both sets of creatures will feature as part of Council’s annual Dive-In youth summer film screening.

Presented in conjunction with Wingecarribee Shire Council and the Youth Hub, this year’s Dive-In celebrations will include two feature presentations.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (rated G) kicks off the fun for the juniors and families at 7.00pm whilst teenagers can be scared silly by Dark Tide (rated M) from 8.40pm until 10.30pm featuring Halle Berry.

Entry is $5 per person and includes a sausage sizzle and drink. Kiosk facilities will also be available.

Dive-In will be supervised by Council’s Youth Liaison Officer, a youth worker from the Highlands Youth Centre and Pool staff.

Dive-In is a drug and alcohol free event.

In the event of inclement weather, the film screening will be moved to the Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre.
