Bowral Pool to open this weekend
Bowral Swimming Centre will be the first of Council’s outdoor public pools to open for the 2015/16 swim season with gates opening this Saturday 10 October.
Bowral’s Swimming Centre’s operating hours will be:
- Monday to Friday – 6.00am to 6.00pm
- Saturdays – 8.30am to 6.00pm
- Sundays – 9.30am to 6.00pm
- Public holidays (excluding Christmas & Boxing Day) – 10.00am to 5.00pm
The Southern Highlands Water Polo will have exclusive use of the 50 metre pool on Monday and Tuesday evenings whilst the Mittagong Swim Club will meet on Friday evenings from 6.00pm.
Bundanoon Swimming Pool will open on the 14 November and the newly refurbished Mittagong Swimming Centre is scheduled to be open for business in December.
The Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre continues to remain open all year round.
The Whale Tail inflatable pool toy will also be doing the rounds again this season so keep an eye out for sightings or ask Pool Attendants for details.
Council reminds patrons that all of Council’s outdoor public pools are heated to 24 degrees.
