If you’re one of the many who’ve flocked to celebrations for Australia Day in Berrima Village over the years, you can expect to be happily surprised by what’s in store in 2023. Share in the excitement as the Berrima Village community takes all-day celebrations out into the streets, with a little help from Council.

It all starts with a 9:30am Citizenship Ceremony outside historic Berrima Courthouse. Welcome 50 new residents to Wingecarribee Shire and be inspired by our Australia Day 2023 Ambassador, Mel Thomas.

Then from 10am-4pm, explore the charming heritage laneways of Berrima, brought to life by a Village Market and a colourful array of classic cars. There’ll be pop-ups by the very best local eateries and cellar doors, from sausage sizzles and spit-roasts to whiskey and cool climate wines. Plus loads of fun for the kids, with live action from the village Blacksmith, fire hose roll-outs with the RFS, free Museum entry and more.

Pick-up a well-stocked picnic hamper for an afternoon in the park or along the river walk, enjoy live music, artisan stalls, and a host of other attractions happening at local venues, and have a Cuppa with Council at the WSC pop-up.

There’s so much fun in store!
