ANZAC Day services across the Southern Highlands
Wingecarribee Shire Mayor Councillor Larry Whipper is urging residents across the Shire to attend one of this weekend’s ANZAC Day services.
“Next Monday marks the 101th anniversary of the landing of Australian and New Zealand troops on the shores of Gallipoli in 1915,” he said.
“To commemorate the occasion and pay respect to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, services will be held at numerous locations across the Shire.”
Scheduled services include:
- Berrima
Dawn service – 5.30am
Main service – 10.30am - Bowral
March & dawn service – 5.45am & 6.00am
March & main service – 10.35am & 11.00am - Bundanoon
March & service – 10.40am & 10.50am - Burrawang
Wreath laying & service – 11.00am - Robertson/Kangaloon
Wreath laying – 10.15am - Colo Vale
Wreath laying & Service – 8.00am - Exeter
Due to construction works, the Exeter service will not take place this year. Residents are encouraged to attend the Sutton Forest service at 8am or the Bundanoon service at 10.40am. - Hill Top
Dawn service – 6.00am - Mittagong
March & dawn service – 5.15am & 5.30am
March & main service – 10.30am & 10.45am - Moss Vale
March & service – 10.30am & 11.00am - Sutton Forest
March & service – 7.50am & 8.00am
