Wingecarribee Shire Council has announced that entry fees for the upcoming 2012/13 Swimming Season will remain unchanged from the previous year.

Cost of admission to Council’s public swimming pools for the season will remain as per following:

  • Adult – $3.80
  • Child (under 18 years) – $2.80
  • Concession (Cardholder) – $2.80
  • School Student – $2.00
  • Spectator – $1.50
  • Children under 3 years – Free
  • Season family ticket – $430.00
  • Multiple Entry (20 tix) – $56.00 a book
  • Multiple Entry (50 tix) – $110.00 a book

Wingecarribee Shire Mayor, Councillor Ken Halstead welcomed the 2012/13 fee structure.

“Despite ever increasing maintenance costs, Council have decided to not increase the entry fees to our public pools,” he said.

“When compared to some of our immediate Local Government Area neighbours, our fees continue to represent good value for money.”

The 2012/13 Swimming Season Fees will apply to Council’s Bowral, Mittagong and Bundanoon swimming facilities.

Pending approval from the Joint Regional Planning Panel, work is expected to begin shortly on the Moss Vale Indoor Aquatic Centre which would subsequently rule it inoperable for the upcoming season.

The 2012/13 swimming season will officially open on October 13
